For 28 years, SunSka Festival has been a landmark event in Gironde, offering three days of live music (reggae, hip-hop, dub, and more), wellness activities, and a spirit of togetherness. Set in the Domaine Départemental de Nodris, in the heart of Médoc near the Atlantic coast, the festival combines concerts, sports, talks, family-friendly spaces, and vibrant cultural experiences.

A creative concept with powerful benefits

Christmas provided the perfect opportunity to sustain audience engagement beyond the summer season. SunSka Festival wanted to design a fun, interactive initiative to:

  • Strengthen audience loyalty by offering playful, participatory content during the holidays.
  • Attract new audiences through the visibility of a seasonal campaign.
  • Highlight the festival’s values of warmth, community, and togetherness year-round.

To meet these goals, SunSka’s team combined Arenametrix tools with the reach of social media, launching an interactive Advent calendar.

What was implemented

  • Social media campaign: 27 posts and over 100 interactive stories on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to:
    - Promote the “SunSka x Christmas” contest powered by Arenametrix.
    - Balance engaging and promotional content to maximize reach and interaction.

    - Keep attention high with eye-catching visuals and regular reminders.

  • Email marketing : 5 targeted campaigns supported by a structured contest registration form. This approach ensured GDPR compliance, maximized sign-ups, and broadened reach.

  • Omnichannel strategy : By combining social media with email, SunSka boosted visibility while delivering a seamless participant experience.
